On September 23, 1963, I was born in Delta State of Nigeria. I completed my elementary, high, and undergraduate education in Nigeria. I studied at Delta State University, where I bagged a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree, in 1988, I majored in history education: and took English as a minor course of study.
I worked as a teacher in private elementary and secondary schools, between 1990 and 1993. Between 1993 and 1994, I worked as client Services Executive in an advertising company. In 1995, I was gainfully employed as a marketing staff with major insurance company. I was a senior Marketting staff, until 1998, as soon as I had the opportunity to relocate with my wife to the United States that same year.
On my arrival in the United States, I spent two years as a substitute teacher with the then New York city Board of Education. In 2001, I was employed as a caseworker with the City of New York, Human Resources Administration (HRA). A year later, I passed the city-wide competitive test as a caseworker, and I chose to be redeployed to the office of child support in Bronx Family Court. I worked in that capacity until 2009, when I tendered my resignation due to the conflict that arose between my work schedule and graduate program I started in the fall of 2008.
The graduate program I started was at Herbert H. Lehman College; a part-time counselor education program designed specifically for teachers, school counselors, and other stakeholders in the education of the child. I completed the program in May 2012, coming out with honors in MS Ed, counselor Education.
I am currently working on my doctoral program in transformational leadership at Bakke Graduate University in Seattle, Washington.
In the sphere of Ministry, I joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 1991. I enrolled as a church worker in 1993. Two years later, I was dedicated as An UN-ordained Minister. On relocating to the United States in 1998, I joined the same Christian ministry, known in the U.S as the Redeemed Christian Church of god, North America,Inc. (RCCGNA). In 1999, I was ordained a Deacon; and became an Associate Pastor that same year. In 2001, I started the branch of the church, RCCG, Tabernacle of Restoration Inc. in 2003, I was ordained in the office of Assistant pastor. I received the final ordination as a full pastor in 2008, As a result of my dedication, loyalty, hard work, and total commitment to the values of the mission and the kingdom work, I was appointed as one of the Zonal coordinators in RCCGNA, in New York. In this office, 15 pastors in charge of branches report to me
Hierarchically speaking, the Redeemed Christian Church of god is headed by the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch .A. Adeboye, and the leader of the mission worldwide, with headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. However, for legal and administrative purposes, the church in the United States and Canada is headed by the most senior pastor, James Fadele, who has the title Chairman. With the head office in Dallas, the church is called here in the United States the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, North America, Inc (RCCGNA, Inc.) He presides over the Board of Provincial Pastors, who report to him directly. Under the provincial pastors are zonal coordinators, who report to the provincial pastors directly. The zonal coordinators, on the other hand, supervise between 10 and 15 pastors who are in charge of branches of RCCGNA. Area pastors supervise four or five branches and deal directly on a daily basis with the pastors in those churches and report directly to the zonal coordinators.
In terms of my family, I got married to my wife in 1996. We have a daughter and a son, born in Bronx, New York, in 2001 and 2003, respectively.
